To Whom It May Concern: We were very impressed with your services as a REALTOR. You found me a buyer in 3 days. What more can a seller ask for! You followed up and were very professional. I would highly recommend your services to anyone. Thanks again,
Stew Martenson
To Whom It May Concern:
We purchased a property in Yancey County, in 2004, from Debbie Wilson at Carolina Mountain Realty.
Debbie was so friendly and efficient she made the process of buying our property such a simple one.
She took us step by step with the Attorney and title search, the inspectors and organized every small detail in a timely fashion.
She even took time out of her busy schedule to introduce us to people and businesses in the community that were helpful in getting us established, like where to get good prices for antiques and furniture and who to call if we ever needed maintenance work and of course, the best places to eat.
We were made to feel so very welcomed and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience of buying our retirement property thru Debbie.

To whom it may concern,
My wife and I have had the opportunity to have Ms. Wilson serve as our realtor on two separate occasions; once in the selling of our primary residence and once in the selling of my wife’s mother’s farm after her passing.
Each time Ms. Wilson handled all the details with professionalism and tact. We actually had to do very little but sign papers.
She took the burden of “showing” the properties and negotiating with buyers away from us when we were both extremely busy with other projects in life.
I would certainly recommend her to anyone in the area looking to sell or buy property.

I have had the pleasure of working with Debbie Wilson as my realtor - both as a buyer and as a seller. When we first met and were looking for property in the Yancey County area; she not only showed us properties, but also showed us the whole town of Burnsville. She has a wealth of information and is knowledgeable about the many resources in the area. She was even there the day of the "big move" to pitch in.
When we decided to sell our home, she was the only one we even thought of to list the property. Again, she always had a smile, offered encouragement and was never too busy to take our calls and just talk. That is rare in today's world.
We have recommended a family member and a close personal friend to her and both times she found them the perfect property. I will continue to refer people to her that are looking in North Caroline for property.
Sincerely,

To Whom It May Concern:
I wish to make two comments about Debbie. First, I have known her for thirty years and have asked for her insights concerning property many times. While I never actually purchased property, she ALWAYS responded to my concerns in a professional manner. You might say I was the ultimate tire kicker. She has been the ultimate Professional. Secondly, I finally purchased property recently and, while she was representing the seller, she was very helpful to me not only in the process of the transaction, but also in assisting me with my needs. (loans, etc.). This was all done in an honest and orderly fashion with total disclosure as to WHEN she could assist me and when she was representing her client. Now, we have been friends for many years, so I had full trust and confidence that she would treat me fairly. But it will be obvious to her new clients that she will do the same for them. This is important because when you are spending large sums of money in unfamiliar territory, it's necessary to have an agent you can trust.

Dear Debbie:
We enjoyed working with you as our Realtor for the property we purchased in Burnsville.
We have worked with many Realtor's in the past but never received the service you provided.
Our purchase was a difficult one, but your patience and perseverance enabled us to complete the transaction and move into our home.
Anytime we needed your help you were always available, during and after the closing of our home.
Wishing you well,

To Whom It May Concern:
In the spring of 2007 my wife Deborah and I were first time buyers in the mountain property real estate market, and we knew we needed a knowledgeable, native veteran of the North Carolina real estate industry to be our guide, into what was for us, exciting yet uncharted and unfamiliar territory. We also knew that what we didn't need, was the typical run-of-the-mill fledgling realtor in their late 20's armed with a lack of experience and counting on their youthful good looks to sell us property! Fortunately, we finally chose a savvy and practical veteran named Debbie Wilson to counsel and guide us, and that choice proved to be the first in a series of excellent decisions in our search for the property to build our dream vacation cabin!
As a native of the North Carolina Mountains, Debbie knew the area's properties like the back of her hand and saved my wife and me many days of fruitless searching by narrowing down our list of prospective properties before we ever met in person. We discussed our desires with Debbie over the phone, and from those conversations, she discerned just what we were looking for and was able to eliminate half the properties from our list as ones that she felt wouldn't meet our criterion. During our property search the next weekend, by happenstance, we passed several of the properties she had stricken from the list before our arrival and this only further assured us of Debbie's experience and discernment, as we found we had no interest in any of them as we passed by.
Expedient and practical use of our time was paramount to my wife and I as we reside in north Georgia and could only spare weekends to actively search for land; thus the cost of a weekend's dining and hotel stay would be the minimum price of every weekend spent searching. Thanks to Mrs. Wilson, Deborah and I only had to take one weekend out of our busy schedules to search for our dream property! That's right, one weekend! On the second day, a diligent Debbie Wilson lead us to the twelfth and final property to be seen that fateful weekend, and it turned out to be the land of our vision, our dream! We processed the purchase through Debbie from beginning to end. As all of our business involving Debbie it was a smooth and seamless transaction, carried out flawlessly by Debbie and her contacts in the area's related industries, and we own it to this day.
Oh, and we prospered one last time that weekend, one last unexpected benefit; we gained a trusted friend too....
